8:52pm: So, just an update:
I've been bumming around town looking for any musicians, found a few, nothing to jump out of the skin about.
Found a job THE FIRST DAY I WAS DOWN THERE!!!!!I set up a salad bar and then wait on some tables. Its working out alright.
I've read two books:
And the Ass saw the Angle, by Nick Cave,PHENOMENAL!And Billions and Billions, by Carl Sagan.Read it, but wanted to read it again.I also have started a biography of Tom Waits that is, well, just ok.
I've lost 15 lbs.
Drinking lots of coffee.
That about sums it up.
I hope all is well in livejournal land.
OH YEAH!!! AND, I found a dictionary(not the unabridged that I want)that is HUGE!!!!About 10 lbs. worth of huge.I think it's 2442 pages long, is about 5 inches thick, and is held together by metal bracing(due to its girth, not damage).Best of all, I got it at goodwill for a whopping $4.95.That, my friends, is a SCORE!

4:24pm: Well, today is my last day in prineville(it deserves no capital), so I will not have continued access to the internet.Though I should be making weekly trips to my local library to check my e-mail ,and update my journal. So in summation ,I would like you all to know that its not that I don't love you if I don't comment or make a response to your comments, its just that I don't love you enough to go out and buy a computer just yet ;P.
Tomorrow the hunt begins!
BUA hA hahahahah
I bid you all adieu ,for now.

My LiveJournal Sitcom
woodandnails's pocketknife (SHOWTIME, 10:30): woodandnails (Julianna Margulies) and c0r3 (Gilbert Gottfried) write a children's book. That weekend, venavix (Rachel Weisz) convinces drunken_mynci (Jaime Pressly) to learn to speak Tlingit. Nearby, xbettieragex (Walter Matthau) dances with disablo (Uma Thurman). That night, herekittykitty (Ben Vereen) buys a wheelbarrow from derwert (John Wayne). At the same time, la_nuvola (Erika Christensen) makes bill_hicks (Kirsten Dunst) look stupid in front of a large crowd at the university. Insanity ensues.

9:28pm: oh yeah, I now have TWO stainless steel teeth. How cool is that?Even though they are only molars, and no one can actually see them without me spreading my cheeks like a victimized alter boy, they still feel pretty awesome within my foremost oral cavity.

My dentist just did another $800 worth of work on my teeth.I was there for two hours on the chair. He charged me $120.My total bill for $1500 worth of work:$240.I'm left speechless.God damn.God DAAAMMMNNNN I say.

1:37am: oooooo, big balls......I'm so IMPRESSED
I wish I could track down this ass-(from anyone knows how I could get in contact with this number, let me know.I REALLY want a proper discussion, not a hit and run.Anonymous posting is such bullshit when all you do is use it to try and prove that your somehow better then someone, without having to back it up.My only assumption can be this person lacks any real talent or brains, and needs a way to vent their frustration at failure.I guess I can be the target so someone can last one more day without shooting themselves.I'm always a fan of idiots taking all the valuable resources like air ,that intelligent people could be using.HAHAHAHahahahahah

12:34am: Fuck you G. Bush!
Don't fret precious I'm here, step away from the window
Go back to sleep

Lay your head down child
I won't let the boogeyman come

Counting bodies like sheep
To the rhythm of the war drums

Pay no mind to the rabble
Pay no mind to the rabble

Head down, go to sleep
To the rhythm of the war drums

Pay no mind what other voices say
They don't care about you, like I do, like I do
Safe from pain and truth and choice and other poison devils,
See, they don't give a fuck about you, like I do.

Just stay with me, safe and ignorant,
Go back to sleep
Go back to sleep

Lay your head down child
I won't let the boogeyman come
Count the bodies like sheep
To the rhythm of the war drums

Pay no mind to the rabble
Pay no mind to the rabble

Head down, go to sleep to the rhythm of the war drums

I'll be the one to protect you from
Your enemies and all your demons

I'll be the one to protect you from
A will to survive and a voice of reason

I'll be the one to protect you from
Your enemies and your choices son
They're one in the same
I must isolate you
Isolate and save you from yourself

Swayin to the rhythm of the new world order and
Count the bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drum

The boogeymen are coming
The boogeymen are coming

Keep your head down, go to sleep, to the rhythm of a war drum

Stay with me
Safe and ignorant
Just stay with me
Hold you and protect you from the other one
The evil ones
Don't love you son,
Go back to sleep

11:27pm: So I just watched a show on the discovery channel about mary magdalene.About how she wasn't the whore the church painted her to be.Which I found REALLY interesting, and now I'm left curious.I have heard allot and read some on the Gnostic beliefs, but I think now I want to dig a little deeper.Any one have any clues where I could info on any apocryphal texts of the bible?Mainly the heretic "Gospel of Mary", or maybe "Gospel of phillip".Any knowledge or rumors are welcome as well.I'm always a proponent for the deconstruction of the right-wing Judeo-Christian belief structures.Although I would love to hear a counter debate(other than the played out "how can we trust it if it's not in bible I buy at my christian supply store?" complaint).bah.

3:57pm: Is "bowling for columbine" not one of the best documentary films put out thus far? M. Moore did an exemplary job that should be noted by many in his field. To me he came across as very sincere in his quest for answers, something that lacks in most productions. As of now, I HATE little mr. heston. What a peice of shit.He pretty much layed it out on the table that he's a worthless racist, with his statement that "ethnic diversity" is the reason that there are as many murders by gun that there are.Damn, that movie just got me pissed again.I also like that he didn't just blame it on the guns(even though i'm not a fan), he looked deeper in to the psyche of the american.Just way too many good points to bring up.I remember little bitch heston stating "home of the brave " in reference to those gun toting idiots, but would it not be far braver to stop hiding behind you're penile extension, put down your gun, and face the problems of the world with your mind, not your fist?I guess it's harder to put your cognitive muscle to work then it is to put your trigger finger.GOD,I could just go on for hours, I love it when a movie puts my mind in motion. The mark of a good film.

10:16pm: you know, this is not me whining, but when you get a root canal ,shouldn't you get GOOD drugs, not naproxen.I'm really not mad here, the dentist kicks ASS, taking off about 60% of the bill so I can afford two root canals, two fillings and a rebuilt tooth.HE FUCKING ROCKS!He is even letting me make payments.Who needs insurance! So the fact that he doesn't want to prescribe opiates to a mid-twenties male with a mohawk is forgivable. He didn't even know me.I came in for an extraction ,and hes been being SO helpfull ever since. There are cool people left in the world.Either that, or hes trying to get into an assistants pants by doing charity work.EITHER way is cool with me.

6:11pm: "Electro-mechanical transducer which couples positive acoustic feedback into an electric amplified guitar body for the purpose of sustaining played notes. Abstract: A transducer for a musical instrument through which vibrations can be fed back to the instrument so that notes played on the instrument can be sustained. The transducer comprises a bracket for mounting the transducer to the instrument. First and second opposited permanent magnetic poles project away from the bracket. A first surface of a sheet of non-magnetic, non-electromagnetic resilient material is attached to the projecting first and second magnetic poles. An electromagnetic core has a spine and first and second legs originating at, and extending away from, the spine and terminating at first and second end faces, respectively. The first and second end faces are attached to a surface of the sheet opposite the surface of the sheet to which the permanent magnetic poles are attached, with the first face adjacent the first permanent magnetic pole and the second face adjacent the second permanent magnetic pole. A conductor is wound on the core. Varying current flow in the conductor induces flux variations in the core."

1:26am: inebriated analysis
Is it just me....or is the real world on MTV just a commercially successful anthropological study on our mating habits? I am also led to believe that the creative mind behind the title "the real world" is not TOO adept to things that consist of reality based data. How many people in "the real world", get a cushy job with no real pressure, just so they can be video taped whilst fucking and/or fighting. Not to mention the HUGE abode bestowed upon the unsuspecting, psuedo-primates.When will there be an episode in which all residents co-operate with each other so as to provide proof that some of us are devoid of this crippling disease known as STUPIDITY!I think i'm done here.HAHAHAHA oh my god, and people wonder why there are mental disorders that glut the system.

10:10pm: god...I am such a sap. What dreams may come makes me cry every time I watch it.If only things worked like that.I do like the play on Dante though.Even though there is no mention of Dis, it is SO obvious.I think Dante was more of a self absorbed prick then the lead character. Dante's trip was all about his righteousness over the people he didnt like,as where this is more of a basic love story.Love stories rarely make me cry, but there is something about this movie.I wish I understood my sub-conscious a little better,or at least was willing to confront it.
